Straight Talk has finally introduced a viable prepaid option for those of us that use our phones a lot. Prepaid used to be expensive if you used more than 400 minutes a month but now Straight Talk has actually removed the need for contracts completely. Their ‘all you need’ plan completely annihilates the medium to high usage contract segment of the market and their $45 unlimited everything plan is half the price of the contract unlimited plans. The fact that they use the great Verizon network is just bonus!

Great write-up on the various prepaid services out there. Of all of them I think Straight Talk offers the best deal with their Unlimited plan, especially for those who use their phones for work or a lot each month. Dont forget to add you get free 411 calls on this plan, a nice little addition to an already great deal.

Considering that a single person can spend over $100 a month on a cell phone and a family more than double that, Straight Talk is really a great deal. Personally, I am saving over $50 a month with Straight Talk over my previous carrier – that means I will be saving nearly $1,200 over the next two years versus my previous carrier. Not to mention, I have the benefits of the dependable and solid Verizon network without dealing with a contract. For families with teens or people attached to their phone, Straight Talk is an affordable way for a family to keep in touch. Best of all, you can just pick one up at Walmart – its super easy and saving me just a little something extra every month!
