I've been a fan of the NET10 prepaid phone for a couple of years now and they are the best! Simple, easy to understand pricing, no hidden fees and excellent network coverage makes them the best IMHO.

I really like Net10. Its just ten cents a minute... 3 cents a text. The service and coverage is fabulous. I also find their rate is a bargain...
The starter deal is a phone and 300 minutes for $30. Give ita try.. its really worth it.

Just get the $45 plan =P , That way you don't need to worry about minutes or texts. I have been on it for a couple months and am loving not having to worry about renewing my minutes or hastling with BS overage charges. Honestly, for $15 a month, you are getting one heck of a package. I mean the all you need plan is great and all, but if you see yourself going over 1000 minutes a month (which is easy to do btw), just save yourself time and go all out. I mean $15 a month. Don't go out to McDonalds 3 times and bam, you pay for it like that.

Straight Talk has finally introduced a viable prepaid option for those of us that use our phones a lot. Prepaid used to be expensive if you used more than 400 minutes a month but now Straight Talk has actually removed the need for contracts completely. Their 'all you need' plan completely annihilates the medium to high usage contract segment of the market and their $45 unlimited everything plan is half the price of the contract unlimited plans. The fact that they use the great Verizon network is just bonus!

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!I must say Straight Talk is just an amazing thing. I recently got it it about three months ago and have already saved around 150 dollars compared to my past phone bills. I pay fourty-five dollars a month for unlimited texting, talking, and data. I can't imagine spending more than that when the service on straight talk is AMAZING! Even if you have another contract and they charge you to break it ( as they all do ) you end up saving soo much money its worth it! Thats the best thing about Straight Talk as well. THERES NO CONTRACT. Its almost unheard of. I just love it.

Quote:"If you were using Net10 just for the text messages you would pay $50 a month and $100 a month for the minutes. Yes $30 a month vs $150 for Net10 for the same minutes per month."

Straight Talk makes EVERY OTHER carrier seem expensive. NET10 is probably aimed at lower usage consumers, and therefor expensive when compared to a high-usage plan like the Straight Talk packages.
But you can compare Straight Talk to ANY of the major carriers and you will find ST beats them all!

It is impossible to find an 'unlimited everything' contract for under $90. And most 400-450 minute contracts costs $40 (even before you add the hidden charges).
So both the Straight Talk plans are revolutionary. It just makes no sense whatsoever to sign cell contracts anymore.
